    ColourPop Snow Much Fun 9-Pan Pressed Powder Palette is a new, limited edition palette from the recent Hello Kitty collaboration. It includes three matte, three sparkle-matte, and three shimmer shades. The quality was consistent with most of the brand's releases this year; some powderiness and tendency for fallout, while the shimmers were so-so and often best applied with a fingertip. For those who don't mind fallout (particularly with the sparkle-matte shades), it would enjoy the palette more than the rating might suggest.

    Lethal Cosmetics Echinopsis Magnetic Face Powder is a brighter, rosy plum with subtle, warm undertones and a semi-matte finish. It had buildable pigmentation from medium to opaque with a smooth consistency that wasn't too firmly nor too softly-pressed into the pan, so it picked up well with a brush and was easy to control. The blush applied evenly to bare skin and diffused well along the edges. It stayed on nicely for eight and a half hours before fading visibly.
