• 20 injured in Milwaukee shootings after Bucks playoff game

    MILWAUKEE - Twenty people were injured in two shootings in downtown Milwaukee near an entertainment district where thousands had been watching the Bucks play the Celtics in Game 6 of the NBA's Eastern Conference semifinals, authorities said.
    None of the injuries from either shooting after Friday night's game were believed to be life-threatening.
    The first shooting, involving three victims, occurred adjacent to the Deer District - an entertainment district with numerous bars and restaurants where large crowds often assemble to watch major sporting events.

    At the start of the playoffs, it was the wait before the Atlanta Hawks emerged from the play-in round as the first-round opponent.
    Before the second round, Erik Spoelstra's team had to wait until the Philadelphia 76ers emerged from their series against the Toronto Raptors.
    This time there again will be television time to determine who is next, with Sunday's 3:30 p.m. Game 7 at TD Garden deciding whether the Heat in the Eastern Conference finals will face the Boston Celtics or Milwaukee Bucks.

    BOSTON - It's only fitting that Celtics-Bucks is coming down to a Game 7. There was some doubt their second-round series would get there after Boston blew Game 5 at home, but the Celtics bounced back with authority in Friday night's Game 6 in Milwaukee.
    Now this incredibly evenly matched series will come down to one final game at TD Garden for all the marbles - or at least a trip to the Eastern Conference Finals against the Miami Heat. Both teams are going to leave it all on the floor and both head coaches will do anything and everything they can to get a win. It's a stressful experience...
